JMT,

You don't think the algorithm kings at Google aren't working on ways to better sort through YouTube's content?

Yes--those tools already ARE everywhere. Anyone can create a video-sharing site incredibly easily using Brightcove, Revver, EggNetwork or countless others...or by paying for hosting and bandwidth and keeping all the ad revenue.

What I find perplexing is that each network has not yet created its own YouTube completer to stream all content. Why must they collaborate on a single site?

What we will see, I am convinced, is an emergence of countless niche YouTubes with better-defined parameters.

Steve, Google is Google because of its patented algorithm and unrivaled computing system. That’s starkly different from YouTube's sole value proposition--the fact that it is popular because it was early.
