NewWest is already in Boise, Bozeman, Flathead Valley (Kalispel /Whitfish/Columbia Falls) and Missoula.  I wonder if Crosscut plans to compete in those markets.

NewWest takes carves a liberal niche -- and all those markets are served by a plethora of other online media (look at Seattle... SeattlePI, KING5, KOMO, KIRO, Seattle Times, Seattle Weekly, Stranger, News-Tribune, NWSource, NWCN... etc.).  What is Crosscut's strategy? Should be interesting...</description>
