Business Development Project Coordinator, req #034-07

JOB SUMMARY:

Business Development Project Coordinator is responsible for providing
day-to-day Business Development campaign support for Internet
Broadcasting Business Development Representatives. Working with
internal departments and fast turnaround times, this position is
responsible for all aspects of pre-sale and post-sale support,
coordinating the efforts of marketing, ad master, programming,
design, and content, as well as being a resource of information for
Business Development.

· Serves as primary point of contact for Business Development Reps.
Acts as a liaison between department staff and the other departments
within IBS.

· Coordinates all aspects of standard Business Development campaigns
from start to end working with ad serving team, designers, and
programmers. Works to continually optimize campaigns and ensure
optimal delivery. Keeps Reps informed of all elements and other
needed information.

COORDINATES PRE-SALES OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CAMPAIGNS:

· Participates in pre-sales conference calls with clients.

· Fields client and rep implementation questions. Helps Rep and
client devise best plan for integrating client content within our
sites.

· Gathers requirements for pre-sales mocks and coordinates with
designers.

· Provides co brand graphics to client for the creation of co
branded sites on client’s servers, and guides them in best
practices for setting up co branded pages.

· Utilizes creative problem solving skills to meet client and
internal needs.

· Provides high level of customer service, and accurate and timely
answers to questions from Business Development Reps and Assistant,
and Clients.

COORDINATES PRODUCTION ON SOLD CAMPAIGNS:

· Coordinates execution of all online aspects of Business
Development campaigns that are sold: graphics, programming, editorial
promotion and ad serving.

· Provides client with specifications for all online creative
needed.

· Gathers client creative, content, forms, graphics, and linking
urls from client, and coordinates with programming to implement
campaigns on our sites.

· Ensures that urls are formatted so that client is able to track
traffic/revenue on their side. Provides tracking info, content, and
linking url schemas to editorial team for additional promotion of
client content.

· Provides campaign information as well as campaign revenue changes
to Billing.

· Updates client content in our content management system as needed.

· Works with Reps and client to optimize campaigns.

· Works with Developers on syndication feeds and other outside the
box client and promotional projects.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) REQUIRED:

· Affinity for marketing and promotions, and familiarity with
Internet advertising.

· Ability to “think on your feet” to develop creative
marketing/sales opportunities for a wide variety of businesses and
site templates.

· Ability to creative problem-solve campaign related issues.

· Ability to develop strong interpersonal/professional
relationships.

· Must effectively interact with all levels of internal departments
and outside contacts. Excellent customer service skills are needed.

· Must be team oriented. Skill in organizing and prioritizing of
work, and following assignments through to completion with little or
no supervision.

· Must have good written and oral communication skills, with the
ability to articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences.

· Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and
requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven
environment.

· Must be well organized with a high attention to detail.

· Ability to coordinate with other departments (Business
Development, Design, Sales, Technical) to complete projects on time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· B.A. in Communications, English, Marketing or related field.

· Prior advertising work experiences a plus.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2000 applications.

· Prior experience working within a technology organization,
preferably an Internet company.

· Strong knowledge and familiarity with the Internet a must.
