I think the writers spent too much time developing crappy storylines like with who will Kate end up or Jack’s issues with his father (grow up Jack) – turning the show into a boring soap opera – instead of revealing the mysteries of the island! I seriously doubt if they know what’s happening! They keep throwing things like The Others, the hatch, time traveling, Jacob etc and dragging it too much just to keep the audience watching without being able to tie up all the stories eventually. It was a good idea in the beginning but shouldn’t last more that one or two seasons. In the end I believe that when the show finish – with or without all the answers – will soon be forgotten. I was one of the people who saw first season in about three days total, then started second season and loved that one as well. I feel Lost started to go down hill on third season, it wasn't that great. I am still watching Lost, to see what they thought up and it's not looking all that great. Lost writers have dragged this on a little too much. Some people will say "more than a little" I know. I love this show. It makes you think and wonder what will happen next. I don't, however, like waiting for something to happen and finally get finished in 3 weeks with 3 episodes. Thats not fun, but I still watch. Also, it has gotten to the point where they might as well cut out the past visions because they kinda ran out of the past. Yeah that chinese lady is pregnate, now lets see a past vision of her mom (commercial) telling her advice of when she is pregnate. (commercial) Then she can use that advice (commercial) to save herself of blah blah blah... Those kind of visions suck. Commercials suck, but nobody can help that. Now it looks like the visions are of the future. Thats cool. Something new, but the writers need to do something to save this show. I love it, thats why I want it saved. So heres some advice of a viewer. 1- Have a website to ask viewers what they want and don't want. 2-Solve some of the mystery, in say 3 episodes (3 weeks) Thats long enough. Keep one BIG mystery for the end. 3-Kill the reruns. Lost people get paid enough to not have vacations. Film during the summer, kill the reruns. 4-Don't drag the season. Early on in the show, Lindelof made the statement that Dominic Monaghan was the only character that had job security due to his loyal LotR fans (Yes, of which I am one) and now he goes back on his word and kills Charlie! Not only that, but a character that was suppose to be dead from the beginning (Jack, whom I can't stand) gets to not only live, but we see a future in which he survives. You mean I'm stuck with that jerk making it through. Jack should've died in the beginning like he was suppose to and, not only that, but I'm angry that I just sat through 2 hours of more of his insipid storyline. Enough already! Hey, writers of Lost, take a few tips from the writers of Heroes, now my favorite show on television and the one I'll stick with instead of Lost now. That’s it! I’ve had it with this show!
