‘Countdown’ leads DVR ratings in cable news

No surprise here, but MSNBC’s Countdown is the most time-shifted cable news show on TV, according to Keith Olbermann in this interview with TVGuide.com. I’ve been recording the show religiously since the moment it launched. Plus, watching it on a DVR makes it a snap to fast-forward through the interviews. Ah, if they only made this show 30 minutes instead of a full hour… (Via TVNewser)

You never watch any of the interviews, not even the newsy ones??

Rarely. They slow the pace of the show and rarely shed any new light. For me, I know most of the news from the web by the time I watch, so I tune in for Olbermann’s refreshingly-honest and entertaining presentation.

Agreed, I skip most of the interviews as well, don’t usually add much to the story.

The constant dissing of Fox (particularly Bill O) makes it abundantly clear that Olberman is a green-eyed loser.
