Fox News to test blog show
Cory Bergman February 23rd, 2007
Airing this Sunday after the news comedy show The ½ Hour News Hour, Fox News Channel will test run It’s Out There, a show that will discuss stories pulled from political blogs. Conservative blogger-columnist Michele Malkin and former Clinton administration operative Kirsten Powers will host the show. By the way, The ½ Hour News Hour scored a big number last week — nearly 1.5 million viewers, just under The Daily Show’s 1.6 million. I, for one, will still opt for The Daily Show.

I know this is only tangentially related, but there’s this new website, with what is currently the #1 rated and #2 most watched video on YouTube: foxattacks.com

What was the lead-in number to the HHNH? It can’t possibly be a draw.

The show gained about 170,000 demo and around 300,000 total viewers from its lead-in. Half the viewers immediately tuned out, giving The Line Up just 231,000 demo and 787,000 viewers at 10:30pm.
