Position/Title: Sports Producer
Department: News
Reports To: News Director
Group/Location: KPTV FOX-12, PDX 49/Portland, OR

Position Summary:
The sports producer will manage the content and staff of the sports department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 Manage the content of assigned sportscasts.
 Manage the staff assigned to each particular sports cast.
 Act as line producer for assigned sportscast as needed.
 Manage sweeps content and special projects as assigned.
 Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications – All must be met to be considered.
3 years experience producing, prior management a plus. College degree preferred.

Skills and Abilities
 Must be able to produce and write packages as well as sportscast material.
 Must be able to manage a diverse staff and work under strict deadlines.
