Brief Description of Duties:

Responsible for writing, editing, and posting news copy, recomposing wire copy, and television news stories primarily for use on NWCN.com and KING5.com. Will post photos and encode video and work closely with TV newsroom to continuously update content during breaking news.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a high-energy candidate who understands traditional journalistic values and embraces the fast-paced, rapidly changing environment of Internet news. College degree in Journalism or related field with a minimum of one year experience in a television newsroom, newspaper or Internet news service preferred. Qualified candidates must also have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, excellent written and oral communication skills, a good understanding of the Internet, graphic images and design.
