KOA Morning Show Producer

Duties include working closely with
co-hosts and reporters for topic & story selection for morning news
program. Producer must do the following: provide a rundown for hosts
to follow each morning, schedule guests using network affiliations,
P.R. houses, sports teams, newspapers, magazines and individual
ingenuity. During the show: make sure guests are ready, manage the
clock, record and edit interviews when necessary, monitor breaking
news & network feeds. Work with other departments to coordinate
contests, on-line content, sales promotions, programming etc. Must
also be proficient at using the internet to research phone numbers,
names, stories and related information. I-T troubleshooting skills
and knowledge of Windows XP, Cool Edit and WireReady extremely
helpful, if not necessary.
