SENIOR PRODUCER - GOOD DAY ATLANTA

Supervise production of FOX5 Morning News and Good Day Atlanta
Monday-Friday; work with the assignment desk to determine news
coverage and live reports and collaborate with show producers on show
formats; read and approve all copy for broadcast; assist the executive
Producer in appraising the work performance of program producers and
associate producers; develop, implement and maintain standards of
performance in writing, photography, editing and use of graphics;
direct producers and associate producers in approaches and techniques
for writing, covering and presenting news stories. Candidates must
have a minimum of three years experience producing television
newscasts for broadcast on a commercial TV station. Proficiency in
writing conversational broadcast news copy under deadline and
excellent English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills are
essential. A college degree or commensurate broadcast television news
experience is required.
