NBC Universal Digital Studios will produce a broadband show on Break.com called Breakers, which will feature “beautiful women finding creative ways to break different objects.” Hmmm. A couple more details in the short press release below…
PRESS RELEASE — LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK, BUSINESS WIRE — NBC Universal Digital Studios, a studio dedicated to creating original programming for a wide range of digital platforms, today announced that it will produce an original broadband series that will be exhibited on Break.com, the premier online entertainment channel for men. The announcement was made by George Kliavkoff, Chief Digital Officer of NBC Universal, and Keith Richman, CEO of Break.com.
This represents the first time Break has joined with a major entertainment company to bring professionally produced content to its audience of 16mm unique monthly visitors. The ad-supported series offers brands a unique opportunity to sponsor original digital material that reaches a large audience of 15-35 year old men.
The working title of the program is “Breakers,” and it will feature beautiful women finding creative ways to break different objects. “We are excited to produce such a unique show that is perfectly targeted to Break’s sizeable male audience,” said Kliavkoff. “The series will not only deliver instant entertainment gratification to its viewers, but will also continue to demonstrate the value of professionally produced content for digital platforms.”

One of the top videos on Break.com…WJW’s Kathleen Cochrane Cat live shot. (see that, you had a great TV transition between two blog posts). Not sure she was breaking anything. Granted I’m not sure what this show is gong to be all about.

Finally, a good idea on the Internets.
Boobies and destruction — yep, the future truly is now, people.

Sounds like a cross between those “chick shooting guns” and “chicks squashing frogs” videos.

the name “break” is typical, but does nothing for the imagination.
