Multimedia Faculty, Northwestern University
Evanston, IL
Cory Bergman March 21st, 2007
The Medill School at Northwestern University is reinventing its
journalism curriculum to add emphasis throughout the program on
multimedia journalism, audience understanding and engagement and
online publishing. We are looking for several innovative media
professionals or academics who can help us develop new courses and
teach undergraduate and master’s students. We are particularly
interested in people who can teach multimedia storytelling, including
online video, as techniques that strengthen journalism and who can
teach digital production skills such as Web site design and Flash.
These appointments would run for one or two years, with a mutually
agreeable option to extend beyond that. This is an exciting
opportunity for people interested in helping prepare the next
generation of multimedia journalists.
Northwestern University is an affirmative-action, equal-opportunity
employer. Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
Hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States.
Anticipated start date: September 1, 2007.
If you are interested in exploring these opportunities, send an email
