‘This American Life’ available to watch online
Steve Safran March 24th, 2007
The first episode of the video version of “This American Life” is now up on the Showtime website in an edited version. There were plenty of people wondering if the show would retain its charm making the translation from radio to TV. It does. Note: “This American Life” had an ad here at LR, placed through Federated Media, our ad rep. But that’s not why I’m plugging it. Truthfully - the ad on our own site is how I found out about the show and decided to watch it. (via Fimoculous)

Btw, are you sure that’s an “edited” version of episode one? I thought it was the real deal.

While I haven’t compared the online vs. TV versions side by side, the online version says, at the top: “The following presentation has been edited from its original form.”
As that’s from Showtime, the original source, that’s why I wrote it as such.
