The annual Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner featured President Bush with such jokes as, “A year ago my approval rating was in the 30s, my nominee for the Supreme Court had just withdrawn, and my vice president had shot someone. Ah, those were the days.” Karl Rove busted a move to big laughs (video). And an excellent new animation from the talented folks at JibJab called, “What We Call the News,” premiered at the annual event. Very well done. In fact, maybe too well done for a TV news audience, but they could use the reality check.

That may be the first JibJab animation to understate a point.
Once again JibJab is spot on.
Is anyone else getting tired of JibJab? Sure these guys were cute a few years ago, but I’m getting a little tired. The clip was indeed “spot on,” but JibJab is turning into a Chris Farley movie. Most people laugh, but most people are morons.
Funny stuff.
Ah, the news; it’s news.google.com edited by a 21 year old, read by a 29 year that’s directed by a 39 year old shot with a camera run by a 43 year old for a show watched by a 61 year old.
Hey John, shut your mouth, JibJab is on point, funny and should continue to put out their spoofs. Most people are not morons just stupid fools like you who think their sh*t doesn’t stink. You’re an assho*e!
JibJab is a great one hit wonder. In my eyes they never have equalled the Bush/Kerry video that put them on the map.
Sure, this video is cute, dead-on, witty, etc. But didn’t make me laugh and I couldn’t even sit through the whole thing.
The Kerry/Bush thing was different. I showed it to my friends, family, and re-ran it a whole bunch of times.
Jib-Jab is like Matrix Reloaded: great flick but can’t equal the first hit.
