Xbox expands video, releases ‘Elite’ version

Cory Bergman March 28th, 2007

Xbox Live has added more video content available for download. Paramount and Warner Bros. will offer movie downloads in high definition, and A&E Networks and National Geographic will offer TV show downloads. Also, Microsoft unveiled Xbox Elite, a premium version of the Xbox 360 with a built-in 120GB hard drive and an HDMI output for $479.99. Those of us with the earlier 360s can shell out $179 and snap on the expanded hard drive.

“And how will Microsoft ever compete with Apple - with all their cool products and lifestyle helpers???”

Apparently we now are beginning to understand what the ‘360′ in the Xbox 360 means. Sony has never looked so done.

What else is cool is the fact the guy who founded NetFlix just joined Microsoft’s board; better movie selection to come?

If only they’d put out a game or two that interested me…

The NEXT GENERATION (TM) doesn’t have a who lot of variety so far.

The Wii is the only thing remotely interesting going on game-wise, which makes me a little sad.
