PRESS RELEASE — NEW YORK, March 29 — WorldNow, the leading provider of
Internet technology, content and revenue solutions for local media Web
sites, announced today a record-breaking number of 25 million video streams
across their network of local news and information sites for the month of
February. WorldNow’s streaming video technology is the number one video
solution in the country utilized by over 200 local media partners,
including newspaper sites like Boston.com, LATimes.com, The Atlanta Journal
Constitution (http://www.ajc.com) and TV station sites such as WABC.com and
WAVE3.com.

Through WorldNow’s network of local media affiliates, consumers across

information relevant to their local communities; video content that is not
available on national portals like AOL, MSN, or YAHOO. In addition, through

    which can only mean two things -

    a press release from their competitor,

    and a change from referring to them as “Web sites” to “web channels”.

    let’s see how long the second one takes.

    and let us remember that 25 million may be a big number for them but relative to cnn and msnbc com and yahoo that number pales.

    they may feel good because they reached a round number and honored it with a press release, but still a little perspecitive for them and in LR’s reporting might not be a bad idea.
