Rachel Marsden’s colorful past
David Johnson March 30th, 2007
Salon has a long take on Fox’s new conserva-babe commentator Rachel Marsden’s somewhat checkered past. Sleepless channel prowlers may know her from “Red Eye,” an overnight talker on Fox News Channel, where she has been known to pipe into the kegger commentary with such pithy punditry as “Maybe [Pakistani cricket fans] should focus less on cricket and a little more on hygiene.” While it seems she is being groomed by the network to be the next Ann Coulter, Salon wonders if her record (and by record, they mean police record) may undermine her credibility.

I hate when I’m forced to hate hot chicks because of their personalities.
Shouldn’t we be judging them SOLELY based on their looks, people?
Isn’t that what hot women are FOR?!
Giving them opinions and personalities and “controversy” isn’t the way. Bad form, Fox News Channel. You, of all media outlets, should know that women shouldn’t be given a voice in the geopolitical debate.

Undermine the credibility of a pundit?
The very idea…

I don’t get her. I watch her on red eye because I am fascinated as to how she was brought into any form of media. She never provides any unique or constructive feedback. Even on the show her remarks are largely ignored and met with confusion. This girl isn’t even a good right wing nut, she’s a walking cliche.

She is a train wreck soon to happen.
Fox is giving her enough rope and they don’t even know they are doing it.
Notice that sine Red Eye went on,shes becoming a non factor?
