Larry I am appalled but not surprised at Ba Buchanan’s stand on the McCain campaign’s behavior. It is much the same as her brother. He is still suffering from “The Angry white man syndrome” which he suffered while trying to run for president in 1992, 1996 and in 2000. Let’s reflect on Ba Buchanan’s brother, Damn, I’m sure most black people forgot to be grateful for segregation, the lynching era, sundown towns, and the continuing discrimination they face both in employment and in residence. Because the institutional conditions created by those decades of bigotry have in fact gone largely unchanged, though to white guys like Buchanan, that simply isn’t a factor:

Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America’s fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?

Well, I’m sure black voters are convinced by that argument. After all, it’s obvious that the matter of continuing discrimination is just an illusion in their heads. His words; need I say more?????

If there is any fraud in duplicate registration to vote
I can almost assure you that the republicans are behind
this scam to block poor voters that will more than likely
vote for Barack Obama. John Mccain is behind and loosing
in the poles. The republicans stole the last two elections
through ballot tampering. Al Gore actually won the last
election. Here comes the shameless Republicans
again.Why can!t they win on issues. America really can!t

I ran for a high-school class office with more finesse. My kids play basketball or is that not middle-class enough to qualify me for vice-president? I’m smart, I have a PhD and I’m disabled. No one has asked me to run for vice-president. Larry I am sick and tired of republicans calling Mccain a
maverick. So is George Bush, he never listens to anyone
especially NATO, or we wouldn!t have ended up in Iraq.
Republicans traditionally blame Democrats for wasteful spending. What is 10 billion dollars a month for a war
we cannot win. Religious wars have been going on over
there since the beginning.Oh by the way it has been a

I sent you a note a few weeks ago (between the two conventions, actually) saying how much I loved your book about Princess Diana. On impulse, I added my own book about Princess Diana-about her murder. The book got sent to another department “for consideration.” I wasn’t trying to promote it. It was a gift- so now I wonder if you even got the message that I loved your book-and it surprised me. I had seen all your panel Diana specials. I pre-ordered the book and had no idea what to expect.
