News Tease Writer/Producer, KING-TV

KING TV, a subsidiary of Belo Corp., is seeking a News Tease
Writer/Producer. This individual will be responsible for creating
highly effective news teases for KING 5 News products. Will work in
cooperation with the News dept. to gather information, determine
promotable elements of stories and ensure factual accuracy. May also
be responsible for series promotion, image promotion, proof of
performance spots and other productions as assigned by the Director
of Integrated Creative Services. This shift will be weekdays from
2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. College degree with minimum 3-5 years
broadcast promotions experience with a strong emphasis on news tease
writing preferred. Must be highly creative, able to work under
deadline pressures, and strong interpersonal skills.
