Responsible for strategic planning and performance of all central
Kentucky Web sites, including four newspaper sites. Advances the
overall quality of strategic thinking and design applied technology.
Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business
objectives of the organization. Responsible for establishing creative
direction for the entire line of online services, products, and
programs. Designs and develops online content. Establishes
journalistic style. Supervises content producers, webmaster, writers,
freelancers, and research assistants. Manages the schedules, writing,
and editing functions of the sites. Coordinates with the in-house
production team on the layout of the sites. Manages a group of exempt
and nonexempt employees. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals. Reports to the publisher.
