Amen. And amen.

Journalism education is alive and well at Virginia Tech; the CT staff has given ample testimony to that.

And convergence? No college student newspaper will be able ever again to deny its arrival and its value.

We all can be proud even as we grieve.

I agree. Not since Katrina, and the unbelievable coverage & blog/msg. board at nola.com do I remember such excellent breaking news Web reporting.

The Collegiate Times has been much more than just a "college" paper for the past week, from reporting quality and efficiency to multimedia presos.

Bravo. I've been very impressed by this paper's remarkable coverage.

It's a shame a Pulitzer has (likely) never gone to a student paper. Most student-run papers are far more innovative then their "grown up" cousins.
