‘iVillage Live’ moving to Chicago

The NBC stations’ interactive weekday show iVillage Live, which has been broadcasting from Orlando, will move to WMAQ-TV in Chicago for its second season. Sources told TV Week that NBC felt that moving the show to Chicago — away from a vacationing audience with children — will make iVillage Live more in common with big-city markets and would allow producers to make some of the content edgier.

show needs an edge and needs to be someplace where it feels like big market tc

Moving to be edgier and more refined? You mean like the Jerry Springer audience or maybe more the spinoff show Wilkes something or other’s audience. Makes sense - not. You don’t think you can go up against Oprah do you ….. or do you? Good Luck!

The show needs a transfusion. The show is not entertaining. We don’t learn anything from it. The hosts and co hosts are insulting. Have they put one good show on the air yet? Chicago or Fargo is not going to change anything. The British accented lady is terrible.

I was just in a bad mood I had PMS at the time.
I love the show and all the host.

I wondered what happened to iVillage….. The Chicago one is ok, but it always appears dark. Not enough bright colors or sparkle……………..I miss the other one.

I have been wondering what happened to ivillage live from Fl and only decided to go online now to find out. I truly miss the cast and format of ivillage live as opposed to “In the Loop”. I am turned off by “In the Loop”. Bring back ivillage live please.

I loved the florida show much better !!! They gave away prizes the new one does not… FL was fun and exciting and made me laugh. this new one is dark and boring their not fun to watch. and whats up with kimie…. have you ever noticed her mood swings and how bossy she is???????

I also liked the old i village and its cast members especially the one with the accent. The show was a lot more interesting and fun to watch. The guest were better and the topics were much more interesting. What happen to the previous cast ? They were great.
