The number one television station in Kansas is looking for the right
individual to lead this dynamic station into the 2.0 world! The DM
Manager will be responsible for all on-line products and staff, which
presently include kwch.com, TextMe12, AlwaysOn Storm Team 12 (on high
def 12.2) and the new website, kansasyouthsports.com.

The DM Manager will report directly to the President and General
Manager.

The right candidate will be able to: manage an initial staff of
four; juggle multiple projects and priorities; create and implement a
vision for digital ventures; work in a collaborative environment with
other managers; create revenue streams; secure third party vendors
and content; and have a passion for learning about new technologies.

The right candidate must be willing to work a flexible shift with
some late evening and weekend work. The candidate must be both a
talented and an experienced manager and have the technical skills to
put that talent to use. The Digital Media Manager will be
responsible for gathering and analysis, managing project life cycle,
design, documentation, scheduling and resource allocation.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and have the ability to multi-tasks in a fast-paced
environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Education: College diploma.

• 5+Years management experience

•Proven track record of implementation and execution of a strategic
plan

•Excellent writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of web production and design, and understanding of web
content management systems.

• Knowledge of the high school sports scene

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Participation in and knowledge of online communities

• Experience in the development, design and usability of content
areas

•Knowledge of search engine marketing/search engine optimization is
a plus

•Remain current with industry trends and facilitate best practice
sharing among digital media team
