The strength and resources of the number one television station in
Kansas are behind a new website for all those raving sports fans of
high school athletics. We need a dynamic, organized individual who
loves sports and can deliver the best high school sports coverage
on-line to Kansans.

As a Web Producer, you will be responsible for writing and posting
content on “primary pages of our exciting new sports website.
Responsibilities include: editing and writing stories; posting
multi-media content; and generating story ideas.

The right candidate must be willing to work a flexible shift with
some late evening and weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Education: College degree. Advanced coursework in journalism,
English, graphic design or web production is desirable.

• Knowledge of web production and design, and understanding of web
content management systems.

• Knowledge of the high school sports scene preferred

• Strong Internet research capabilities

• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail

• Participation in and knowledge of online communities

• Provides hot local stories

• Helps in the development of improvements and enhancements and in
the design and usability of content areas.
