"Gilmore Girls" was the co-winner of Watch With Kristin's SOS (Save Our Show) campaign this year - and was close to getting a shortened episode order. The show is still good - but seven seasons is about the best possible lifespan for a show that relies on a core group of characters. You did - of course - catch 24's Mary Lynn Rajskub's musical appearance in the last season finale.

As sad as I am to see it go, it's not a bad time, story-wise. What else were they gonna do- have Rory work at the Star's Hollow newspaper?

Have they mentioned TV movies yet? I've noticed it happening more with cult shows. Execs will try to placate diehard fans by suggesting TV movies a year or two down the line. Not that they ever shoot it--by that time most of the actors/crew have moved on to other projects.
