BROADBAND PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

Broadband Production Associate, a non-managing job, is responsible
for assisting producers with all aspects of production of
LifetimeTV.com broadband video content. The P.A. will work in the Los
Angeles office under the Director of Broadband Video. The video
content is related directly to Lifetime on-air programming (e.g.
movies, series) and to areas of interest to women (e.g. health,
fitness, relationships). The Production Associate is responsible for
managing dub requests, clip encoding requests and a growing tape
library. There will be significant tape logging and digitizing of
material.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Log and digitize footage for producers and Final Cut Pro editors

•Manage dub requests, clip encoding requests and the tape library

•Assist producers with video syndication to partner websites.

•Assist producers with shoots and edits

•Assist editors with basic editing and clip encoding

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•1-2 years experience working in a television production
environment

•Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and various video tape formats

•Interest in the expanding broadband landscape

•Strong organizational skills necessary

•Strong attention to detail

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Aptitude to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast-paced
environment.

•Flexibility in dealing with tight deadlines and shifting
priorities
