I think that Heffernan link may be last year’s blog — the most recent entries are dated 5/18.

The funniest thing I found about NBC’s upfront is they scheduled Friday Night Lights on Friday’s at 10 p.m.
What moron did that? I would guess a good portion of the audience is not at home during that time slot because they’re football fans and are probably at a football game!

i think the desired audience for Friday Night Lights is older than high school - more like people who long for their high school days when they were so awesome and cool.
besides, the time slot isn’t so big of an issue in a world fueled by DVR…
