WKRN names new GM

Gwen Kinsey, the GM of Young Broadcasting’s WATE-TV in Knoxville, will also assume the responsibilities of GM of WKRN-TV in Nashville. The job opened up a couple weeks ago after Mike Sechrist’s departure.

that’s a nice little drive between stations @ $3.00 a gallon!

So in essence the bean-counters at Young eliminated the WKRN GM position.

I I am very interested in the results of the VJ program at WKRN. Does anyone know how that worked out? Where did Mike Sechrist go?
