I thought the show was a modern spin of old shows like Gunsmoke or other western shows, with the twist that is a nuke and setting the american dream back a century, with the internet.. It was the network itself that forced the hiatus, then expected it to do well? Some of what passes for intelligence on the programming level is just ludicrous. It had good moments, but sometimes the writing and acting were sub-par. It never lived up to its potential. It would have been a great show in 1988. It just seems dated in several ways.
