		<description>I prefer Rather's brand of hard hitting news to what I see on CBS, too, but there are less and less of us every day. Rather should cut the network some slack. 

Times change. Network news has been in decline for years. There's no reason to expect that this can be reversed with just a little tinkering. And big changes hurt. And sometimes they flop.
