		<description>I love the newscast - so very retro. All they need is to put all the stories on film and get Esso to sponsor it.

Look, I'm all for newspapers and old newspaper people doing video on their websites. But I'm not impressed any more just because they made the effort to do it. It doesn't have to look like a Fox station, but it doesn't have to look like WCAU's the 11th Hour newscast from 1948 either.

Having said that, I do empathize with the Santa Barbara folks in their battles over there, and I do like their clean, simple website. Now if they can find a way to monetize it, I could see them in it for the long haul.</description>
