Yahoo acquires Rivals.com

Yahoo has bought the college sports network Rivals.com for around $100 million, reports PaidContent. Yahoo calls it “extremely complementary to Yahoo Sports.”

This is the new CEO\’s first move since taking over the position earlier this week. Could it be a sign of the direction he wants to take the company?

yep, new ceo’s almost always overpay for assets.
Rival was ‘valued’ at 50-60M if i recall.
