The Apple iPhone hits the market at 6pm this Friday. Here’s a roundup of the latest news:
- Native support for viewing Word, Excel documents included
- Vendors are already preparing accessories
- Cancelling iPhone service will cost $175, despite lack of price subsidy
- Sure, iPhone has hype now - but will it last?

And when will we have the privilege of knowing how many thousands of dollars we will be contractually bound to pay for service on top of the $500-600 up front? I would rather have a new laptop and desktop.
