VH1 hopes Joost boosts ’30s’

The still-in-beta Joost service has landed a big coup, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Viacom’s VH1 will premiere its “I Hate My 30s” series on Joost. The entire season would be posted on July 16 - ten days before the first episode hits VH1. The magazine says Joost already has 500,000 subscribers. VH1’s GM has the pitch-perfect attitude about this new world we’re all exploring. Of the Joost deal he said “it’s going to be fun. We’re both learning together, which is definitely a positive.”
