G4 viewers not happy with E3 coverage
Cory Bergman July 11th, 2007
G4 is providing live coverage of the video game conference E3, but it went to commercial breaks right smack in the middle of the Halo 3 trailer and the Mass Effect trailer — basically the most highly-anticipated points in the conference for any Xbox gamer. As a result, the G4 message boards are going crazy. “Way to go G4, blow your exclusive coverage on commercials,” writes one. “G4 studio has been taken over by cable access chimps,” writes another. The net effect? “Everybody stop e-bitching about it and just use an online stream,” writes a former viewer. (Thanks, Peter!)

Update: By the way, here’s the new Halo 3 trailer!
Update: G4tv.com is streaming the Nintendo presser live now… if you can get on

Sounds about right for a commercial break to get in the way of the best bits, happens at sporting events all the time but at least the producers normally have to common sense to show a replay!
