In a deal with CustomFlix, ABC News will make hundreds of hours of historic programming available on DVDs here on Amazon.com and ABCNews.com. For example, you can buy ABC News’ coverage of the JFK assassination, Princess Diana’s royal wedding and old Nightline episodes. It’s funny… because most people were watching either “As The World Turns” on CBS or whatever was on NBC at the time, we always see Uncle Walter’s CBS News Bulletin and, very rarely, Chet Huntley and Frank McGee on NBC’s coverage. I would be interesting to see how ABC covered it at the time, considering they had a very strong affiliate in Dallas in WFAA.
