Joost crosses million user mark
Don Day July 25th, 2007
The online video site that hopes to bring TV content to the masses via an innovative peer to peer network just crossed the million user mark. Niklas Zennström let the number slip at a Skype press event. Joost, of course, is still in beta.

Now, if they’d just send me my invite…
I had forgotten about it until LR posted something Joost-related, then I got a nice ad-thing about their great services, but if they ever sent me an invite, it must’ve fallen into the junk pile and obviously mt new request hasn’t happened.
I’m not sure why they’re still in beta, but based on the color glossy email ad that they sent, they could have 1,000,001, if they’d just send me my invite.

What do you know? I post here about my problems getting an invite and within hours, there’s one in my box. What makes this doubly interesting is that the invite did not come to the address that you’d find, if you head to the blog under my name, so the two events are apparently unrelated.
Still, thanks Joost and I’ll load it up tonight.
