Memphis Fox station launches blog aggregator

WHBQ-TV in Memphis has debuted OnMemphis, a city blog aggregator. Web manager Darrell Phillips said the site launched three weeks ago and “it’s doing well already and we haven’t even begun to market it.” Screen grab…

Wow, a news web site that isn’t covered in red and blue graphics. Who knew there were other interesting color combinations?!?!?!?

Not bad, even if it was built upon a pretty common WordPress template.
Is it common for the Fox O&Os (even though WHBQ is for sale) to allow this type of thing? Don’t they pretty much stick to the MyFox template?
