will the nielsen accepted scheme of reporting as a "network" still work for 9 others when fox adds those 160 sites?

Detroit - It's a bubble and they're most likely down today because they've been taking a LOT of hits in the press over the past couple of days. Not only has there been the several items listed on this blog, but there's been a CNET privacy analysis, there's been the questions about their health initiative and they even took a hit on last night's Charlie Rose.

There's no doubt that Google News has been losing some of its luster and the company as a whole has had a bad public relations week.

"maybe they'll figure it out now..."???????

GOOG down today $11 yet closes at $497.

it would be interesting to add up the mkt. cap of the 10 top ten "networks" (since many roll dozensYES, DOZENS of sites into their totals) and see who needs to do the figuring out.

i don't think goog puts much stock in nielsen.

Ah! Come on, Anon...

679 articles all containing the same keywords, not necessarily the same articles, but they all have the similar words and "Bob's Nazi-Lovers Handbook" being weighted the same as the "New York Times" - What's not to love?

I still find MSN to be my favirote - although I do use Yahoo for convience. I'm not surprised at all that Google fell out of the top 10. Their news is terrible - I hate the format and its not easily to use. They link WAY too many articles together and it makes the system unfriendly.
