There are shady websites out there that sell programs that effectively produce basic Trojans for such purposes. People typically use them on an ex-lover, spouse they suspect is cheating or business partner. This type of stuff happens all the time. This is why it's critical no matter how small your business that you have good security measures. No easier way to ruin your business than to have a security breach. Especially if personal information is involved.
