TV Guide not closing, despite incorrect report

Update: TVNewser reported earlier today that TV Guide would stop putting out its print edition. LostRemote cited that report - but it turns out to not be true.
Here’s a statement from a TVG spokesperson:
“TV Guide magazine is alive and well. There was no mandatory meeting today; like most businesses, our offices closed at 1pm for the holiday weekend. Everything is business as usual at TV Guide magazine as we are busy preparing for the new fall television season as well as our 5th annual after party celebrating the Emmys on September 16.

I am pleased to hear it, and I want to apologize to TV Guide for picking up on the erroneous report. Visitors to LR know that I have cited TV Guide on many occasions as a company that “does it right” and that has embraced change.
We strongly and sincerely regret the error.

The fact that TVNewser was reporting on something wildly outside of its beat should have been my first indication that it’s not something that should be posted here. I regret posting a blind item from an anonymous source I couldn’t confirm. (And after a week of watching the local competitor in the “real” world here in Boise report about anonymous this and that and sitting on my hands because I can’t verify their blind sources… you’d think I’d do the same on LR!)
Sorry for the misstepp folks — and one thing I always want to make clear: I will never, ever delete a blog post without explanation. If something gets screwed up… well, you’ll be able to see the egg on my face!

Several months ago I ordered TV Guide and the order said you will receive a flashlight radio. Haven’t received it yet. 0100 0145 3051 016 Mary Jane Parsons 1011 E Church St. Salisbury, Md. 21804-4452 Can you help me?
