NBCU to sell shows through Amazon Unbox
Cory Bergman September 4th, 2007
No surprise here. NBC has just announced a deal to sell shows on Amazon’s video download service Unbox, which will begin September 10th. As part of the arrangement, NBC will be able to sell content in packages, including up to 30 percent off when users buy full TV show seasons. Packaging and flexible pricing were the reasons NBCU cited for ending its deal with iTunes last week.

As if moving to a Windows only platform will actually improve the number of people wanting to download their crummy programming.

‘Crummy Programming’?
Hold on there Tonto… have you seen some NBC shows recently? Also, watch out for this coming season. NBC is predicting Bionic Woman will be a hit (and it may), but I’m placing my bets on ‘Journeyman.’ I’ve seen the pilot and it is very good

Well, it was definitely smart to move your show downloads to a system that doesn’t work with the most popular portable video players, the iPod. Jeff Zucker strikes again!!!! Can’t wait to see their NBBC 2.0 video download site!!!!!
