o.k here's the thing, its nice, has good qualities, but small space, get scratched and its god damn pricy!
i rather buy other mp3 players! but the only thing wrong, they arent ipods!
ipods are sexy, thats a huge stone and huge shoes to fill.
but lets face it, not all of us are millionares so we cant buy every new ipod with new features especially if the rabbits at apple are poppin a new one every 2 months, and the updates arent really huge!

like the generation 2 was better than one in batery life, 3 was better than 2 in colours ETC!

if u wanna charge us a kidney's worth of money, MAKE IT A POWERFUL MP3 PLAYER!
its good, but NOT POWERFUL!

I was stupid enough to buy an 80 gig "classic" last week thinking that everything today was going to be about the Touch and Shuffle, neither of which appeal to me and they way I would use it.

Then came $100 price drop for the 80 gig. Thank God the store let me return it last night.

Wouldn't it be great for Apple to include a USB an/or Firewire port on the the iPod touch or iPhones?

If you could connect your digital or video camera to your Touch or iPhone, you could easily ingest high resolution video or images, and upload them to YouTube, or your favorite picture sharing site.

Think about the effect that would have on ENG! Reporters could take their iPhone or iPod Touch into the field, upload their video without having to lug around a laptop computer.

Obviously, Apple and others are reluctant to add a USB interface, because it would make it easier for people to pirate and share music, but it would be pretty cool to have your iPod interface with your other devices.

The iPod touch is tempting, though I'm leaning towards the new iPod classic, myself. 80GB of space and 30 hours of battery life? NICE.

The ATT deal has been a sticking point for me and is why I won't get an iPhone. I like the new wireless ability, and while not quite as useful as the full-blown phone, for me it'll be good enough to do what I want - I'm excited!
