I suspect the Mike above had much to do with Brittney's and NiT's success by developing and steadfastly supporting it. His tenacity gave the concept the time it took to mature.

Unfortunately, much of their pioneering work has been destroyed by the site's claimed evolution to NiT 2.0 which is "on the way" but meanwhile a couple of inmates have commandeered the asylum and most of the saner heads have abandoned it.

Brittney was destined for this success and richly deserves it.

Brittney was a pioneer. Plucked from the local blogosphere and set down in the middle of a skeptical newsroom armed only with Terry Heaton's vision of a TV station connecting, listening and facilitating a conversation with its viewers she helped create something totally unique. It was hard work and as always when navigating without a map there were a few missed turns along the way but the journey was enjoyable and Nashville is Talking became the homebase for many bloggers in and out of the area. Kudos to KPIX for recognizing and hiring a unique and talented lady.
