		<description>It's a smart move. If I was going to pick a local vertical to launch nationally, it would be music.

The music industry is in flux, and there are a lot of opportunities for growth. The local ad base for music can be substantial, and it's a topic that has a strong connection for both local and national readers. And it appeals to a much younger audience than the typical broadcast TV web site reader.

BTW, I understand that Fox has another vertical about ready to launch quietly by the end of the year.</description>
