unfortunately, it looks like the popup is still there. whenever i play an embedded espn video (including the one on your site), a popup appears which contains a small (5x5 pixel) blank gif image. what's the deal with that?

how can i get around this?

thanks

It's actually not just the embed that is critical. It's the option to watch more videos at the end that is excellent. Hey, get them once... great. Get them to watch two or three videos from you, and they might actually remember who the hell you are by the time the third one rolls around.

@Greg: There will be rights issues with syndicating some of the content. The important part is that they're making the tech available on the video where there are no rights issues - mostly their own original-generated stuff.

@Hussman: Well done.

I'm trying to get our station to do this as well. It's a slow process, but I give lots of props to our New Media dept. to being so responsive instead of dismissing the idea outright.
