I know all the sites went back to local control in early '05, and I'd heard from a former BI staffer the BI Content Staff in Dallas was all laid off this last February but I didn't know that the Sales and Support divisions also ceased to exist as well. This sounds like another Viacom-CBS split that really isn't a split. And much like that split, where people predicted that CBS would crash and fail post-split, I wouldn't be surprised if newspaper Belo does better than expected.
