CNN launches news alert program
Michael Gay October 15th, 2007
CNN has a new breaking news alert desktop application that they launched through their breaking news e-mail lists today. I haven’t received any alerts yet, but it has a nice look to it. You can download Desktop Alerter here.

How “breaking” will the “breaking news” be? As breaking as the “bomb hoax” in the example?

this has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but i’m writing this from the mcdonald’s restaurant located in the median of the chicago skyway.
i imagine m. gay has driven by this a few times.
a buddy of mine gave me a stack of free 1 hour passes and i want to try the mcd’s wi-fi out wherever i can.
so far so good, but i haven’t ordered anything to eat yet.

Now that we have had the off-topic and smart-arse replies, I will just say that I like having this alert program, and it was very helpful for you to tell us about it.
