‘Price is Right” with Carey already features outrageous clip

Drew Carey debuted as host of The Price is Right today. Forget whether or not the host is right for a moment - this has to be one of the better ‘Price’ sequences you’ll see:
Update: It appears this YouTube gem isn’t from the first show, even though only one show has aired. A leak, perhaps?

I just watched the debut show on tivo and I didn’t see Plinko in the first one. Did I miss it? Or is this leaked by CBS?

Ummm… you know - I was under the impression this was from the first show, but that seems a bit in doubt based on your comment, so I’m striking the “first show” language…

I remember the black guy (2nd from right) in the debut show.. was this something that actually happened but was cut from the show that aired.. maybe for the potty comment?

In the comments on the YouTube video, the first commenter says the clip will air on Tuesday’s show (today 10/16).

The clip came from CBS. We received a copy of it last week, and I’m assuming it went to a few other sites as well. I think that most of them just ignored it.

*Three* $10K drops? Not to get all conspiracy theory here, but doesn’t that seem rigged? I used to be a Plinko enthusiast, and I’ve never seen someone hit it twice.

I have been watching the Price Is Right since Bill Collen emceed the program and I use to like it very much. But it’s a disgrace that they couldn’t get any one else besides Drew Carey to keep the interest in the program. He is not funny and is very dry. It appears that he’s making an effort to emcee the program. I’m sure the Price is Right ratings will hit rock bottom with this emcee. Couldn’t they find anyone else? I’m sure Rosie McDonald would have been more interesting than Drew Carey. It use to be that my day was incomplete without the Price is Right . Now I could care less if I miss the program. I’m sure you will never find anyone who will be another Bob Barker but I’m sure you can find someone better than Mr. Carey. If he is not replaced from the show, I will be another “lost” viewer.
The show has lasted for many years (generations) , I would hate for it to be lost because of Mr. Carey. He’s just not right for the show.

I, too, am a lost long-time Price is Right viewer since Bob Barker’s departure. The show is very painful to watch. It is a free-for-all! What about Tom Bergeron from Dancing with the Stars? He would be a fabulous host!
