CNN.com anchor promoted to American Morning

Veronica De La Cruz, from the CNN.com Desk, will be a new face on CNN’s American Morning newscast. I’ve seen Veronica several times anchoring the “Now in the News” webcast on cnn.com, so it’s exciting to see someone promoted from the digital side to the broadcast.

Interesting how moving from digital to broadcast is still considered a promotion. With people watching less TV and spending more time online, one would figure the progession would flip at some point.
